The Eastdale Theatre Company has been running for many years and is still running today!

This year the ETC will be performing three major productions which everyone should be aware of:

2nd Annual Cabaret

The ETC started the Cabaret as a fundraising show for the Sears Drama Festival and the ETC Musical, but it was so successful that it has now become another amazing show that the ETC will perform annually. With everything from dance to beat-boxing, from singing to performers serving food, the Cabaret is a wildly entertaining evening with something for everyone! This year it was a huge success so thank-you to not only all of the students and staff involved with the production and performance, but also to everyone that came out to support the Cabaret!

ETC Musical!!!

As one of Eastdale's most renowned and recognized trademarks, the ETC musical has upheld its outstanding reputation each year and will most certainly again this year. This year's musical will be "Grease" and the past few were: "Once Upon a Mattress" (2004), "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" (2003) and "Fame!" (2002). This year, we have a brand new director: Jim Senft who will run an exchange musical performance to Calgary this summer called Summerstock! With so many new changes and improvements, the ETC musical will only get better!

Sears Drama Festival

The Sears Drama Festival is a competitive one-act play which becomes a tight-knit family of dedicated actors completely devoted to the play throughout the reharsal process as well as the performances. With the intense character roles, the talent which each and every actor in the play has, a demanding script and a dedicated director the Sears Drama Festival is always a success. This year, the one-act play will be "The Insanity of Mary Girard".
